    Description

    This lot is a beautiful seldom seen 1880's Andrew Menzies City Omnibus token from Glasgow Scotland.  The obverse shows a horse drawn omnibus and the reverse gives the owners name and business locations.  The token is 18 X 28mm being struck in copper.  The piece is listed in Smith's 1990 international transit catalog as Scotland 420-G.  Token shows good honest usage wear without scratches or defects.  It will be a worthy addition to anyone's transit or Scotland token collection.
