    Description

    This lot is an 1880's ferry token from Stockholm Sweden.
    Cataloged as Sweden 820-MI  in Smith's 1981 catalog.  The token is 21 mm struck in brass with an original valuation of 7 Ore.  Later counter stamped with a 25 and the 4 semicircle cutouts added to the rim to note a fare value change.
    This piece will be a great addition to anyone's Sweden or transit collection.
