    Description

    This small NYC subway and bus token was used from 1953, when the use of tokens was first introduced, and later replaced by a larger version in 1970. This is one of those first original small ones –5/8 inch in diameter (about the size of a dime), with the cut out “Y” in the center. It has been cleaned and covered/electroplated in 14k gleaming gold. It is in excellent condition, sharp in detail, and super golden shiny. Sweet. The token in the pics is the token you’ll receive.
